About Me

I'm Chema, a football data analyst shaped by experience across Spain, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia, working within professional football clubs, currently in the Saudi Pro League.

This trajectory provided me exposure to distinct competitive environments, tactical models, recruitment structures, and performance cultures, allowing him to understand how analytics adapts to different football ecosystems.
My work focuses on building and maintaining event- and tracking-data models, including xG, xT, PxT and progression frameworks; developing role-based player profiles; analysing possession and structural behaviours; supporting match preparation; and contributing to long-term squad planning.
Operating inside professional clubs has given me a practical understanding of how to turn data into decisions—how to communicate insights to coaches and directors, how to prioritise what truly matters, and how to integrate quantitative and tactical thinking.

SoccHub exists as an extension of that professional journey: a space where I share methodology, interprets tactical behaviour through data, and explains the logic behind the models used in high-performance environments. The aim is not academic abstraction but applied football intelligence—ideas tested in real contexts, frameworks that can be used by analysts and coaches, and reflections that connect data with the game as it is actually played.
